  • Upgrade the internet explorer

    Hi
I have sbs2008 ' and the internet explorer is ver 8
How can upgarede it to ver 11 or 10 or 9?
    What is the high version?

The current version is V11 which, AFAIK, works with Server 2008 - it certainly works with Server 2008R2

Just go online and search for IE11 download (or fully patch your SBS and you should get IE11 with the zillion and one other updates)

You will need to check your system architecture - Server 2008 was the last one which had a 32 bit option. Note it is generally better to run 32-bit IE anyway

"Fully Patch" - install all available updates

You need IE10 not IE 11. IE 11 requires 2008 R2 to be installed.

Pretty sure this gets installed as a patch when you run Windows Update.

Search term in Google: ie 10 server 2008 32 bit The first link tells the story.

Second link: IE9 for Server 2008 32 bit (scroll down to the appropriate section)
                  1 1 was a racehorse.
                  2 2 was 1 2.
