  • New Shared Mailbox in POP3 connector mailbox list

    Hello,

I have created a shared mailbox in exchange 2007 that I have given all my users permissions to view.

All I want to do now is POP certain e-mails into it using the Windows SBS POP3 Connector. When I try to do this the mailbox does not appear in the list where it says: "Choose an e-mail account or distribution list that the specific POP3 mailbox account can deliver the e-mail to."

Does anyone know how I can acheive this?

    Thanks

    Dave

    wait.
you mention ex2007, in an sbs2008 forum. then you speak about the sbs2003 pop connector.

could you give us full infrastructure details pls?

      Sorry,

I am using Windows SBS 2008, with Exchange 2007.

The Windows SBS POP3 Connector is found in my Windows SBS Console under Network - Connectivity.

Actually I think I have just added the shared mailbox with the wrong organzational unit on it...

How do I amend it in the Exchange shell..?

        I have tried the command:

Set-Mailbox "SharedBox" -org "new organizational unit"

        with no luck..

        Anyone any ideas?

        Cheers,

        Dave
