  • Outlook Web Access could not connect to Microsoft Exchange

    Good morning,

    After about 24 or 48hrs after I reset server I always get error ( Outlook Web Access could not connect to Microsoft Exchange. If the problem continues, contact technical support for your organization. ) when I wanna access OWA access.

    It working normally one or two days and after that it stops

    Anyone had problem like this?

    Have you tried an IIS reset (and looked in the IIS logs while you're there)

    What server OS is it?

      Didnt tried that, I will check it now. Anything else info you need?

        Anythnig in event logs?
        Are you fully patched? (either SP2 RU9 or SP3 for exchange) and SP2 for Windows


        I'm flagging this thread for move to the SBS forum as it is not quite the same as regular Exchange

          is it only owa that's broken ?

          do you get the full exception message?

            all runing now after server restart but after 24hours I know it will stop!

            NOW when all working:

                I would just run Microsoft Update and see what (if anything) is missing

                But if you go into EMC then click on Server Configuration you will see the version number -- SP3 is v8.3 Build 83.6

                  When I try update it says there is no available updates.

                        You are on SP1.
                        SP2 on SBS 2008 requires some additional steps.
                        However Exchange 2007 SP3 can be installed straight on to SBS without additional steps.
