Vishnu, just to point out that SBS 2003 is now SEVEN years old now and you want to upgrade a 10 year old O/S to a 7 year old O/S.

Any reason why you are not looking at SBS 2008?
      1 1 was a racehorse.
      2 2 was 1 2.
      1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
      2 2 1 1 2

        biggles77,

        Thanks for your update.

i am trying this for one of our client.

i have given enough detail about migrating Windows 2008 R2 but they have some application limitation so that they are insisting on be with Windows 2003 R2.

        With Thanks & Regards

So Biggles77's idea still stands. You would buy SBS 2008 premium edition, which gives you SBS on one server and a license for another Windows 2003/2008 server for the business app. You also get SQL thrown in for the same price and you save your customer the price of future upgrades and licensing costs.
I see you are getting similar answers on the smallbizIT yahoogroups!
