  • Using ISA to Block Adverts

How can I use ISA's proxy features to block adverts for users?
I've been using this online backup for all my photos, docs, spreadsheets, powerpoints & emails for years now & it works great.

You can create a URL set and deny access to it via an exception in your SBS Internet Access Rule. This assumes you know the URLs that adverts are coming from though, and it's a bit clunky to setup and maintain as these things tend to be fairly dynamic.

To get really effective web filtering out of ISA Server you need an add-on like Websense though.
