  • Unwise to install Blackberry BES on SBS2003?

    Hi,

I have been told it is not a good idea to install either Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) or Blackberry Express on an SBS2003 server.

Is that true? Should I be advising customers to get a separate box and run BES on that?

    Thanks.
    Best wishes,
    PaulH.

In an ideal world it should reside on a seperate box. But theres nothing wrong with installing BES on an SBS server.

Thanks Teiger, I just wanted folks opinion on whether it was wise or unwise. I have heard problems associated with slowing down the SBS server and so forth but as with all gossip, I need to confirm.
