  • Need help with SBS 2003

We have 2 servers. One is Server 2000 which is the domain and the other is a file server. The file server is SBS2003.
After installing the SBS2003 I got the message:

This issue can occur if the Windows 2003 Small Business Server integrated setup was not completed. Windows 2003 Small Business Server must be a domain controller and hold all FSMO roles for the domain. In order to facilitate migration from an existing domain, the Small Business Server can function for 7 days after installing without being promoted to a domain controller. After that time, the Small Business Server must be promoted to a domain controller using the integrated setup. If the integrated setup is not completed, the SBCore service will initiate a shut down of the server".

How can I prevent the shutdown? I do not wish to use it as a domain.
    Many thanks in advance

    as it says
sbs2003 unlike sbs2000 cannot act as stand alone server.
it have to be promoted to dc within 7 days.
if you don't do this the server will restart.
finish the sbs2003 installation and make sure that it holds the fsmo roles.
    Good Luck
