  • DNS in SBS 2003

    Hi guys

Im constantly getting event id: 7062 in the dns event log. I have one DC with an ISA connected to the internet. The architecture is as follows

    Domain Controller: 10.44.200.1(IP), 255.0.0.0(Mask), 10.44.200.101(GW), 10.44.200.1 (DNS)
    ISA: 10.44.200.101

On the DNS configuration i have two forwarders setup thats pointing to my ISP's dns server. This is going out through the ISA server and then to the internet. I have read and went through most of the forums on the net regarding this error and cannot resolve it. I have no stub zones so there cant be lame delegation, 10.44.200.1 is not in the forwarders list nor the root hints. Please can someone assist me in resolving this issue. I am planning to migrate to SBS 2008 and need to make sure the DNS is working correctly in the current scenario

    Thanks
Working...
