    Hello Everyone,

    Okay here goes:

No.1 We have a SBS exchange 2003 server. We have 17 users on the exchange using domain for their email addresses. They can send and receive internally and they can send and receive over the internet to other domain names. They can send to no.2 mentioned below with no returned messages but the mails somehow never gets delivered

No.2 At another location we have 10 users using the same domain for their email but they are setup to directly pop and smtp and send their mail from the mail host not the exchange server mentioned in no.1. As mentioned above they DONT receive mail from domain name but they receive from all other domains over the internet apart from

    • Is there a setting I am missing on the exchange side of things?
    • or Is this something to do with the external email host?
Your help would be greatly appreciated

    Re: Email Problems

As a guess, your SBS thinks it is authoritative for the domain, so emails to the other location never leave

There is an option in Exchange System Manager to "Forward emails for unresolved recipients to a different host" (sorry, no E2K3 boxes available to check exactly where) which you will need to fill with the name of the mailhost used by location 2

But why not have all your mailboxes on the SBS and use either Outlook Web Access or Outlook RPC/HTTP(S) to get access from the remote site?
