  • Does SBS2003 or 08 or Windows 2008 is the Best OS to Install Ex07

    Hi All,

Firstly I would like to thank all for the replies you are going to post.

My Questions is " Is SBS2003 or SBS2008 or Windows 2008 Server is the Best

OS to install Exchange 2007". I need to do a new implementation.

    Thanks in advance again

The first things that comes to my mind are: How many users are in your environment? How many physical sites are there? We need to know much more about your situation to be able to answer this question.

Both flavours of SBS already come with Exchange (and I don't know if SBS 2003 can be upgraded to Exchange 2007, although I suspect it can)
      EDIT - Confirmed: http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/...ain-Part1.html

Of course the question is, why would you want to?

Essentially, to install Exchange 2007, you need a 64-bit OS, either 2003 or 2008

You couldn't install Exchange 2007 onto SBS 2003 though, which I think is what avratnaker wants to do.

          Correct, SBS2003=32-nit, Exchange 2007=64-bit.

But for the official reasoning etc check here
