  • 2003 sbs std problem

    Hi

I have a 2003 SBS Std server that has been running happily for 3 year.

All of a sudden my Mozy online backup stopped working and Server AVG stopped updating.

I can ping websites but cant browse them on the server. I cant browse to the adsl router from the server but can browse the internet and router from all the client pcs.

    Help please!

You need to provide some more information in order to get any relevant answers.

Do you think the two problems are related or is it a coincidence.

What does your AV log says?
Since there is anything on the event logs regarding DNS you can probably look at your browser. have you tried a different browser?

Is you name resolution working correctly?

What steps have you tried to resolve this?

Yes, a little more info would come in handy...

Is ISA installed? Are all the updates applied? Tried running CEICW again? Tried repairing your network connections? Looked at services and seen if some of them are down, not started when they should be? Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera...

I'd be glad to try and help, but in order to give you any tips that are not this obvious, I'd need a bit more info...

            Cheers
