  • [2 NIC + Router Setup] CEICW: An error occurred while configuring a component

    Hey,

Im trying to install SBS 2003 in a virtual machine, for testing. Ive given it two NICs, and the host is behind a router / switch / hardware firewall.

Ive followed this guide to the letter, yet when i run the CEICW i get "An error occurred while configuring a component" (while on the Network Configuration portion at the end of the wizard).

Internet works fine, its just i wonder what this error means. Im trying to get a perfect, clean, error-free install so i will be ready to set up a production SBS server and this error is ruining my plan! Below is my ipconfig /all:

    Windows IP Configuration

    Any ideas?

    Cheers for any help.

EDIT: Following this KB article doesnt fix it. Could it be because there is actually no 192.168.16.x devices on my network? I mean, i plan to have 192.168.16.x connected to a switch for the clients PCs to connect to, but at the moment i only have the 192.168.0.x router connected...?
