  • remove existing server the correct way? Help!

    Hi people,

Quite new to this forum and would like a little help if possible.

Basically, the company i am working for are having a new server put in with SBS 2003.

I would like to know how i would correctly remove the existing server they have in, which is also SBS 2003 (Just hardware upgrade basically)

Or, is there anything else i need to know to complete the install of the new server succesfully.

Hope you guys can help me out here!

Method 1: (Highly recommended ) Buy and use the Swing Migration Kit from
Method 2: (Also recommended) Use StorageCraft v3 (?) which allows you to image a server and restore to different hardware, adding Drivers as you start.
Method 3: Read the SBS documentation on the Technet web site - YMMV
