  • SBS Licensing Question

I have a client who has a SBS 2003. Currently only there managment group uses this server file sharing.

They are now wanting to move there email hosting back inhouse, The problem is they have over 75 email users. All of the new users who connect will use OWA or POP3 to connect to Exchange.

Will SBS 2003 be able to handel these additional users since OWA and Pop3 use licences diffrently then logging into the domain.

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    David

    Re: SBS Licensing Question

    No can do.
You will need the full version. SBS is 75 authenticated users regardless of authentication method.

can you wait for Essential Business Server 2008? (300 users)
