  • Default website structure trashed

Well let this be a lesson to always check your backups. We had a backup of our file system and system state before we loaded the ecommerce module of our CRM software.

It was installed to the root of the default website, this went through fine adn worked happily. However we found we could not access OWA, after doing some checking the Default Website home folder had been changed, we changed this back to what it should be however we have lost all the virtual directories etc.

Without doing a server reinstall how can I get it all back?

    Thanks for any help

    Regards

    Dave

You may be lucky if that gets you back to a working configuration.

      See http://msmvps.com/blogs/bradley/arch.../21/96452.aspx

or you may be in for a restore from backup/reinstall.
