  • OWA Problem

Recently I had 2 things happen at the same time. I had a Cisco Pix 501 die on me and switched ISP to Cablevision. My users were using OWA with no problem until I reconnected our server to the cablevision supplied router and bypassed the Pix box. Although internally we can access the web, send and receive e-mails etc., I can't get OWA to work. What am I missing?

Have you opened the ports (or configured port forwarding) for 80 and 443 on the new router to point to the server's local IP address?
    Best wishes,
    PaulH.

        Nope should both be TCP.

Ports are set properly. I found out that cablevision had port 80 blocked on their router and never mentioned that little detail to me. I had them open port 80 and it worked. The weird thing is that it worked for about and hour, then stopped working. What in the world could account for that?
