  • External OWA

    Hi guys,

Im a recent graduate and im doing support for an office with around 20 users. The network has SBS2003 with Exchange and a Terminal Server. Internet Access is through a netgear VPN firewall (NAT etc).

I have got OWA working fine internally using servername/exchange. How do i get this working on the net?

    TIA

    Re: External OWA

You need to forward ports 80 & 443 to your server then:

      Something to consider. http://www.petri.com/configure_ssl_on_owa.htm
Lots of links at the bottom of that page also worth looking at.

        Re: External OWA

        Well, it is easy fix:

        1. make sure that port TCP 443 is open on your router and properly forwarded to your server IP

        2. run the wizard on the SBS - connect to the Internet and make sure that you have enabled/checked these options: OUTLOOK via Internet

        3. complete the wizard and you should be fine to access your server/exchange via Internet by typing https://{server.yourdomain.com}/exchange

        also good to check:

That does what it says = OUTLOOK via Internet. You want to check Outlook Web Access. Otherwise good post.
