  • Heads up on Win2003 SP2 on SBS

Please read the SBS blog on http://blogs.technet.com/sbs to see about possible problems with Windows 2003 SP2 on SBS. Especially note the item about disabling checksum and RSS on NICs.
This is doubly troubling if you are running Premium Version and ISA . Also Broadcom NICs are having known issues (DELL uses Broadcom in many of its server, as HP sometimes do).
Note: the problem on Health Services will also affect Remote Assistance (RA) if you use that.

Iím honoured to have been selected for the SMB 150 list for 2013. This is the third time in succession (no logo available for 2011) that I have been honoured with this award.

That RSS issue applies to more than just SBS

MS is only listing 64 bit versions of W2K3 (not 32 bit; not SBS in particular) in the KB link mentioned in that blog:

Steven, do you know if there will be an SBS specific SP2 released?
      1 1 was a racehorse.
      2 2 was 1 2.
      1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
      2 2 1 1 2

No specific SBS SP2 release planned. Best we can hope for is maybe an SBS KB.
