  • Client PC - Security Permission

A Windows XP computer had to be replaced on a SBS 2000 network.

The Outlook will not let me set up a Profile to connect to the Microsoft Exchange and another program will not load because there is insufficient Permission set up.

I haven't had this problem before, and I can't seem to make the appropriate settings on the PC.

    What should I do.

    Thanks for any support.

Re: Client PC - Security Permission

Did you use the SBS2K wizard to set up the user/computer, including creating the computer setup diskette?
If you do this all the permissions are correctly set for you.

<soapbox> You are using a 7 year old system - it's time to upgrade and do it sooner rather than later. RWW is worth the price of upgrade alone. </soapbox>
