  • File Replication Service (NtFrs)

    Continuous error being logged.

After research of MS Q/KB, and making a registry change, I restart the service and all is well with an info entry in the event log of 13516. However, the MS fix does not permanently fix the issue. I have go through the drill several times/week.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

      Steven,

Well now that you ask me that question, it makes me question, if I did in fact post to the most correct forum? My thinking at the time was the error is surfaced from the SBS and is a services issue. If I did possibly goof I apologize. To avoid confusing other users, you may possibly want to delete the posting, if it is not in the correct forum.

I wouldn't hazard to guess at what his problem is? Now we know the OP has SBS, do we know if he has any other DC's in the network? Otherwise NTFRS really has nothing to do - but if it messes up it can bring the server to its knees.
Let's wait for the info before we invest our time in a guessing game.
