          Re: Sonicwall Firewall

          A couple things to check:

          1. DNS Settings - If your using the Sonicwall as a dns server for your clients, check that the name servers its using are correct. If your clients are using public dns servers then make sure you are inspecting dns outbound.
          2. Check your default gateway on the sonic wall. If its a dynamic address then try a release and renew. Then check the default gateway on your end hosts is correct.
          3. Is NAT setup properly?
          4. Check your logs.

            Re: Sonicwall Firewall

Please give us more information regarding your setup.

Basically it sounds like DNS is not resolving correctly.

Are you in a domain environment??

Do you have anything in between your SonicWALL and your clients that could affect this??

With the little information you have given we will never figure this out.

Oh and thread merged. In future please do not double post or you will be banned.

              Re: Sonicwall firewall

I concur with my northern friend there - this sounds like a DNS issue.
I would look closely at your IPConfig output, and your configured dns servers.
