  • ISA Server 2006

Did not see a specific location...sooo maybe someone might be able to help.
I have a win 2008 based ent, with AD. I have a win 2003 server with ISA server 2006 running on it. I have the isa server config'd for a firewall with the client running on each workstation. When I create a rule and use just my loggon account name ( NT ID ) , I can access the internet, everthing except for my pop3 e-mail. If I modify the access rule and change the user form my logon to "all users" I can use my pop3 verizon e-mail.. I checked the isa server log...and it looks like it is getting a DNS error when I use juat my logon in the user for the rule and try and start outlook w/ my vz pop3 e-mail.

Usual place for ISA queries is the Security forum, one of the mods will move the topic there.

Have you added the POP3(S) protocol to the access rule?
