  • ISA 2006 SSL Tunnel port addition

    Hi,

    I have ISA 2006 on a Windows Server 2003 Enterprise O/S platform.
I'm trying to provide access to a website which uses a different SSL port to 443. The SSL port they use is 2083 for example. So I need access to EG: https://access.example.com:2083\Login. So far I've extended the SSL port range as per article http://www.isaserver.org/articles/20...portrange.html.
I still have problems connectng to the site even by bypassing the proxy as some of our servers have direct access. I can't ping site or site ip address and I can't telnet from the ISA proxy server to port 2083. I have no problems with telnet onto 443. I've also creates an access rule on ISA to allow protocol 2083 but still can't get through to the site. All other rules do not block this site. When I monitor the connection to the site, port 2083 as the Destination and SSL-Tunnel as the protocol, the connection is wllowed under action for through the specified ougoing rule. The only thing I can think of is that it is being blocked on the network firewall which ui don't have access to.

Is there anything else I need to do on ISA?

    Thanks

If ISA is allowing it, then it's certain not the ISA server which is blocking it...
