  • ISA isp change question.....

I have a client that is using a isa server. Later this week they are changing ISP's serverice - however will not be losing their static IP address.

Is there any settings change that will be required to change inside of ISA? I'm not that great with ISA - most of my clients have routers doing this function - I just inherited this server...

    Thanks.

Well if they keep there addresses there is nothing to change on ISA.

I'm just wondering if they change DNS servers - are those changes just made to the NIC?

        Re: ISA isp change question.....

Always use the internal DNS servers on the ISA server internal NIC.
The only thing you might change is the default gateway if necessary.

How the NIC's should be configured, please review: http://blog.msfirewall.org.uk/2008/0...work-card.html
