  • VPN concetrator GNU

I wish to include some Freeware VPN concentrator. I have MS domain inside.
What I want to know is experience of other. What Gnu VPN is recommended ?is it OpenVpn? Is it possible to used AD to authentication if my server is Linux based? Someone told me that the best system is FreeBSD?

What I want to do is redesign my network and to use only GNU software. I have firewall/router Cisco. But I might have to change to GNU firewall as well.

I want to know what openVPN software is widely used.

Why not using RRAS then? Or has it to be running on Linux?

Have you had a look at the Cisco VPN software??

I'm unsure if its free though.

If you have a domain and need AD authentication then using RRAS is the obvious solution as Dumber mentioned. Do you have further requirements not listed that rule out using RRAS?

I'd be very surprised if Cisco VPN software is free. I recently installed a load of Netgears for site-to-site VPNs and the client software for connecting to them isn't free. And usually if Netgear charge for something Cisco want 4x the price upwards.
