I would recommend Sophos, just because it deploys well and they are a very professional company. Im sure others have their prefernces.

If you are supporting mail, then I suggest you have a very serious look at Spam Marshall. http://www.spammarshall.com/SpamMars...igin=mcseworld
This excellent product can end up saving you and your users a lot of grief. (No I don't work for them, it's just a great product)

For e-mail we use an external partner www.emailfiltering.com for spam and virus checking.

Our MX records point to them and we only accept mail traffic through them. Our outgoing mail is virus and spam checked by them as well. So far in 12 months ive had (as a company) 0 mail with viruses infected and (personally) about 4 spam e-mails. They are very good.

first of all I would like to keep the server clean from virus.

                like desktop computer.

I protect our email from viruses and spam using mxsweep hosted email protection. It stops nearly all spam, never stopped a good mail, and stops all viruses. URL REMOVED BY MOD

Marcel, Wullie, would you consider this an ad? Not a product but a service.

For local antivirus, please use: Mcafee Enterprise 8.5
For mail relay, use Iron Port.
                          Best Regards,
