    Hi there ...
I'm setting up a DMZ on my firewall. I need a server on the DMZ to be accessible from the internet and also to be able to negotiate with a SQL server on my internal Network. It it simply a question of getting thye right MIPS from each address, IE untrust - DMZ , and DMZ - trust and then opening ports for a selection of protocols.

Or will the server need two network cards and a pair of different ip addresses for each network.

    Re: DMZ Configuration

I think you are on track with your first statement. Open allowed ports from the public to the dmz, then open allowed ports from the dmz to the private network.

Your server does not need more than 1 NIC.
