  • Logon using Smartcard

    I want to Implement authentication by smartcard for users who connects remotly by vpn to the network.
    i want to implemet it only when they connect from outside the network, not from the lan.
    is it possible?
    also, does anybody have a link to an article that describe the whole procces of creating the certificate by microsoft CA storing it in the smartcard token and configuring the active directory to force using it?

    Peronally i can recommend CryptoCards.
    In combination with (Cisco) ACS you can provide external authentication.
    Also there are different modules like OWA authentication using cryptocards.
