  • Tracking Rougue Machines by MAC

    Hi!
I have a LAN which is spread on different locations and sometimes visitors plug in their laptops with fixed IPs to the network, which clashes with existing IPs used in the LAN. So I would like to trace these MAC to specific switch/Switch port where they are plugged in. I would like to know how you guys handle this kind of issues and what tools you prefer to use.

    Thanx in Advance

        This one is slightly slower!

Hmmm you could look at using something like 802.1x which could be used to lock down network access by mac address.
