  • XP 64 system repair using blank password

I am trying to perform a system repair on my machine that will no longer boot due to virus removal. I tried running the repair only to find that I cannot enter " " (ie, blank) as a password. I doscovered the password was blank from using login recovery.

I have the option to delete/reset the password. But there are no instructions as to what it will reset it to. I'm assuming it will make it blank which obviously won't help my situation.

Does anyone have any experience with either the [MOD EDIT commercial site removed] site or system repairs with a blank password.
