  • Content Password.Internet Explorer

Hello and welcome all, first time user here and pretty naive to all things PC.I have a second hand laptop, which i am running Windows XP.I have the administrator rights and password to this laptop. However, this evening I was fiddling about installing a wireless card to talk to my ADSL/Router upstairs, which appears to have worked. However, my problem arises when trying to access a site such as Hotmail. It is telling me that content is not allowed, and then prompts me for the content password to change the settings under Internet Options>Content>password.
It seems that the previous network administrator has put a different password in for internet content. We have tried all of his suggestions to no avail, including the admin password. How can i overcome this?
    Many thanks in advance!!!
