This is W2K3 vs. W2K server enterprise edition as no one is on SP1 for W2K, correct?

When you use the /RANDOM switch, you need to write the password down.

Is this a workgroup machine or a member of a domain? If on a domain, look at CUSRMGR:

        http://support.microsoft.com/kb/272530

If a workgroup machine, please do as Sorin suggests.

There are also a couple of BartPE based solutions out there that have received a mention in this forum.

And there is the "Repair Install" w/ Shift-F10 trick that MAY work for you.

        Backup, backup, backup.
        Cheers,

        Rick
