  • Office 2003 (am I a super lamer?)

    Hello,

I've tried changing the information in the "setup.ini" folder as I've read on this site. When I start the setup from the burned cd with the modified setup, the only thing that changes is that what I've written as the product id appears in the little boxes without me having to type it again.
The setup program, however, still tells me that I've typed an invalid cd-key.

    What gives?

    thanks

    Sebastien

And is your CD key indeed valid? If it is you could contact your regional Microsoft support center and ask them for a different CD key.

BTW, you did enter YOUR OWN CD key, didn't you? You did NOT use the sample CD key I gave on that article, right?
    Cheers,
