  • Cached and Domain Passwords

    Hi,
Not sure if this is at all possible but I will ask anyway. We have some remote users that are only on our network from time to time. Otherwise they connect using our VPN. They log into their systems using cached domain user accounts. When their UserPasswords expire on the domain the VPN will prompt them to change it. What happens is their cached passwords are know out of sync with the Domain Password. We have run into a few issues with Applications not working due to useing the cached credentials instead of the VPN credentials. Is there anyway to synchronize these passwords. Without haveing the user come into the office and login.

    Thanks

There few option to overcome this limitations:

    1. Use PKI smartcard/OTP to logon to the VPN and set using Radius server
or active directory as central database for logon - so there wouldnt
    be a need for user/pass.

    2. Move to Citrix/Terminal.
