  • tricky question for all

    hi all

    i want to post some file on my intranet
    i want user only to view but cannot print save or edit
    this is not problem i can do it with adobe professional 7.0

    my main concern is that it is confidential document
    so i must not take out of the organisation
    that one must not download, upload or send via mail this file
    i dont known how to do it

    is there timestamp or signature that can apply to document that is detected firewall reject the content to download or send viq mail????
    if there is any plz explain me how to do

    or anyother solution???

    my only concern user must not download or upload or send as attachment

    Most of the companies use document classification, documents sent by email or posted on Intranet are labeled with "Company confidential" or Secret.
    Employees know how to treat them according to the company policy. Of course nobody stop them breaking the rules.
    Usually people donít play with there job and freedom...
    If it is not enough for you take a look at Microsoft Information Rights Management.

        No there is no other way then Digital Rights Management.
        Even a printscreen can carried out.

          can u explain me how to deploy rms
          what are basic requirement
          i have download many doc file but i will apprecaite if you help me

          how it work ,what are its advantage, how to make use of it

          i think rms is only solution to my problem

              hi all and dumber
              i have solveld my problem by using third party software call htmlprotector nice software
              it has solved all problem even u can disable printscreen, page caching, printing, save as, right click, no source code and many more thing which end of day given well secure website from no content can be downloaded

              anyway thanx

              also i tested rms server in vmware lab everthing got right in server but at client side
              when i installed rms client there is no sub-menu permission in office standard 2003
              is i amdoing something wrong or it doesnot work vmware as i read somwhere
              is i need office professional 2003 or standard is enough
              plz help
