  • Automatic Network Diagram Tool?

Does anyone know of a tool where you can enter in basic network info and it will pump out a diagram of the network?

Example of network info: IPs of ports on router, DHCP range of DHCP server, static IPs of printers, etc.

I'm guessing there's a tool out there for this, or a script for Visio that would do something like this.

    Hey Wired!

    How U Been?

I don't know of any type of program that you enter data in to that will produce what you want; however, there are programs that will scan your network and produce a Visio file you can modify.

Not sure if that's what you want or not?

      Whassup

Got any names of programs like that? I'm expecting they cost money though, no freeware like that? Hopefully it'll have a trial or something.

And what software might that be? I'm sure there are others that might like to know of an app that will map a network.

            All Right!!!

Damn, I guess I'll share since a moderator asked.

            Neon's LANsurveyor... Wonderfully delicious! LMAO

It's neither free, nor cheap, but it is wonderful with a free trial, and I love it.

Very capable and worth every penny if purchased.

Visio used to do this (Visio 2000 Enterprise) but I havent seen the tool in more recent versions.

Auto Discovery's not that important to me, as I'm thinking of using it for labs and the like for now, but thanks!
