  • Site to Site VPN - file share authentication

    Hi all,

just a quickie - once a site to site VPN has been established how would you configure users access to the relevant file shares etc?

Am I right in thinking adding the "Server IP\sharename" to a script will work? If so does the script prompt for authentication to the shares or is there a better\another way?

    Thanks

Presumably this is not a domain environment, or AD authentication would work.

      Hi Ossian,

Thanks for the reply, sorry it is a domain environment but they are two different domains. We will be unable to create a trust between the 2 domains as one of the sites is running SBS2008 which doesn't allow trusts.
