  • Comms Room Air Con Requirements

The air con in my comms room needs replacing & I need to work out how big the new unit needs to be. I found this site which is really helpful:

    http://www.netcom-it-services.co.uk/...om_aircon_size

However the problem I have is working out my floor area.

My comms room is in an L shape & the calculation is:

    Room Area BTU = Length (m) x Width (m) x 337

If my room were square this would be easy.

Any suggestions on how to work this out?

In case some one else is in this same predicament I decided to split the room in to x2 rectangles, worked out the length x width x 337. Then added both sums together.
