  • Connecting devices/virtual com ports with user accounts

    Hi,
Sorry in advance - this is purely theoretical question, for now it won't have it's implementation in reality, but I would like to know it just in case.
I have some devices called ADAM (do not confuse it with Active Directory) which allowes to connect devices (mostly some machines) with serial ports (RS-232) using ethernet. So every machine can be installed on PC as Virtual Com Port.
Is it possible (probably is) to connect user accounts with VCP so no matter when the user will log in he would have access to the machine?
If it's not would it be possible to do it with a some sort of script?
And, also in advance, thanks for all the answers.

Moved to misc since clearly NOT to do with AD
Will move to better place if more info comes up!

Not so sure it's *not* AD.
I should add that VCP is created by software added to the device. Sorry for not mentioning that earlier.
What about Roaming User Profiles. It would do the trick, wouln't it?
What if I won't use RUP. What then?
