  • IPP Printing limitations

    Hello,

We are testing IPP printing at my work place with the plan to implement it soon, however we are having some issues.

As an Admin I am able to connect and install a printer from the web print server. Unfortunately ordinary users are unable to connect and install printers.

Now to my question is there any way at all, ordinary users can install printers without elevating them to a power user? I have added users into the load and unload device driver GPO but this didn't help.

    Many Thanks

    Tim

I don't believe this is possible without elevating their privlidges. Normally only admins or power users can manage printers.
