Thanks Dumber, looks useful. IPv6 is way over my head at the moment, really need to set it up in the office for direct access too.

Correct but with TMG I'm curious if it will work since TMG doesn't support IPv6 (why??)...
Direct access should work flawless with UAG (don't forget a PKI environment), but strangly TMG runs on it to protect the UAG box...

ah found it, it should be possible...

              Re: Ebook: TCP/IP fundementals

TMG doesn't fully support IPv6 however it can do to a certain degree by using this script: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../ee921439.aspx
Good ebook though, considering tha fact that transition to IPv6 is coming closer.
I'll make a brave prediction by saying that IPv6 skills will be very much in demand next year.

Can that go on the eBook sticky?

Ipv6, Well they are shouting it already for many many years... I'm curious when we really start using it...

No. The eBook sticky is just for eBooks. (I might add that if you see an ebook added to that sticky to download it immediately. I few months ago there was a good book about a Introduction to SQL 2008. This free ebook is no longer available.)

With reqards to your TechNet URL, might I suggest a new thread in the General Security Forum with an appropriate title and post the URL there. If we get enough good links for TMG then that could possibly be stickied.

I think you misunderstood me mate. I didn't asking for the technet link to be added to the sticky. I suggested Dumber's tcp/ip ebook to be added to the other good ones in the sticky. sorry for not making that very clear.

Yep, my misunderstanding. The TCP/IP eBook is on the list or I hope it is. May have messed that up as well. Been a tad busy over the weekend.
