  • Squid proxy for windows

    Hi,
I have Squid 2.5 running on Windows 2003. I have success configured squid to automatically log users in without prompting for a password, but I'm unable restrict access by using using groups.

Below are the command I've been using.

    auth_param ntlm program c:/squid/libexec/win32_ntlm_auth.exe
    auth_param ntlm children 5
    auth_param ntlm max_challenge_reuses 0
    auth_param ntlm max_challenge_lifetime 2 minutes
    auth_param ntlm use_ntlm_negotiate on

    external_acl_type win_domain_group ttl=120 %LOGIN c:/squid/libexec/win32_check_group.exe -G

    acl localnet proxy_auth REQUIRED src
    xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\24
    acl users_a external win_domain_group pxy
    acl allow_sites1 dstdomain "c:/squid/lists/sites1.txt"

    http_access allow users_a allow_sites1
    http_access deny all

Kindly guide me , I need to restrict internet access to users with user groups so that i can give two set of websites each group has their own restictions.

    Thanks in advance,
    Rakesh

    Re: Squid proxy for windows

Not really a Server 2003 question.

    Moving to the Misc forum.
