  • Better Audio Over Internet Software

    Hi all

I use MSN Messengers audio conversation function to talk to friends and family instead of using the phone (save on the old green!) but the is a bit of a delay which can make some conversations annoying.

Does anyone know of any better software for this? We all use broadband and even talking to my brother in law who is less than 1000m away it has a lag!

    Thanks in advance

Yuk! I think not! According to a Cisco security expert we had in he said it used a keyboard logger which was "undetermined" as to WHY?!

Plus its made by the same people who produce Kazaa.... say no more!

        Skype Keyboard Logger

I can not find any Technicial Information Document stating that Skype has a keyboard logger installed by default.

I am a Microsoft guy however and do know of a Keylogger Virus running rampant through MSN Messenger.

I do use Skype for my messenging for two big reasons:
        1. Quality of the audio compared to MSN Messenger
        2. Price on call to land line phones.

A third bonus is that it was made by the guys who made Kazaa and therefor downloads at a much greater speed than MSN Messenger between friends who want to shared legal files

          You work for MS?

My virus checker is nice and upto date, plus everyone i know who has a PC and the internet uses MSN so thats why i use it.

Kazaa is FULL of spyware and anyone who knows anything about P2P filesharing will keep well away from Kazaa!

Try running Microsoft AntiSpyware (or any other for that) after installing Kazaa....

Skype can't be all that bad if Linksys (Cisco) is getting behind it.
