  • Utility to automate screen clicks and other user interaction?

    I know this topic has come up before on these forums, but I can't track it down. What are some utilities that can be used to "record" user interactions like clicking on certain buttons and typing in certain characters or key combinations and then replay it? I'm interested in trying to automate a task that requires someone to open a certain program, go through a few menus and then click a few buttons.

    EDIT: This is for a Windows Server 2003 machine but could conceivably be used on virtually any Windows machine from 2000 to 7.

    It sounds like you're looking for a macro recorder. It's been a long time since I've used one but google has a plethora of results:
