  • Windows NT:) User accounts getting locked out

    Hi

We have a really old server that's running windows NT. When we add user accounts the account is locked out.
If we try to remove the mark on account locked out, og press OK, when we then see at the user again, it's still locked out....

This we can do 3-5 times and then it's all OK..

Also if a user gets locked out, the same thing happens. Have to do the same operation for 3-5 time before det locked out is off.

Is there anyone you can help me?

What is your domain function level? And you might wanna look at this:

Re: Windows NT User accounts getting locked out

This is NT4 so IF it is an AD domain controller, the functional level must be mixed or interim.

      DGI -- more details please:
Is it a domain controller with AD?
Is it an NT4 domain controller (Primary or Backup)?
      Is it a member server?
      Anything in the event logs?
