  • How to save streaming media

    Hello

I'm interested in saving streaming media. This will allow me to save content and then view at my own leisure. OR, in the case of my work, obtaining material that end users are having trouble accessing and passing it on to them as a file.

I have found a way to save audio to mp3 or wav format by using Quintessential. 100% free-ware found at download.com

Even though they say it has video support, it does not allow you to save streaming video to file.

Does anyone know how to save streaming video to file so that it can be reviewed later on?

    Cheers... Mr Caps...

Where this stream video came from?
      Sites right?
You can see the files on the Temporary Internet Files folder if the remote server allow you to cache them.

sometimes, the cached files have a low ttl that let you see the file for a short period of time.
for my opinion it isn't a good idea to save those files and use them in the future.
