A sharp knife will open it.

Does the USB stick work on other computers?
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.

Does this error occur with any USB stick that you plug in or just that one? A screenshot of the error message would be helpful.

          Re: Usb Memory Stick

A quick search of that error message has revealed a rather unexpected possible solution. Several threads have stated that after much driver updating, uninstalling, reinstalling, registry hacking and etc., the only solution was to completely unplug all power sources from the computer (yank the battery out if it's a laptop) and leave it without power for several minutes. 30 minutes seems to be the number that some people agree on. After the time has passed, start up your computer as normal and then plug in the USB drive to see what happens.

If that doesn't work, we can try some of the other suggestions that seemed to have only limited success.

Does it work on another machine???

Whenever i've had that error my USB key is ready to fall over. Starts off on one machine then eventually happens on them all.
