  • [Promotional Code] Microsoft Action Pack

I don't know anymore where i can find these promotional codes for reducing the cost of the Microsoft Action Pack. There where codes wich you can use to reduce the cost to $99 instead of the $299, but these codes doesn't work anymore.

I hoped some of you people know or have a working promotional code wich i could use to reduce these costs.

    Anyone any idea?

Microsoft Action Pack is not a certifcation trac. It is a software bundel for systembuilders, resellers, etc. for a very low price.

I have never heard of a promotion code for the AP -- IMHO, getting a 10 user license for the standard edition of every server product for $299 a year is damn good value! The UK price is 199 ($350)

Hve not seen a discount for MAPS but I have seen (and used) them for TechNet. Wish I could get my MAPS for the equivalent price (US$299 = AUS$415 at present). We pay AUD$699 for MAPS. TechNet without the magic code is just as bad. Take US$ price and multipy by 2.5 to get the AUD$ price.

I know, but i could spend some time to find a code. If this isnt't possible, at least i tried. But the US only was bothering me too.

                    US always got great benefits...
Cameras which I'm using are way cheaper in the USA then in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe. If I calculate the US Dollar to euro's is even cheaper if I buy a return plainticket to new york or somewhere and buy the camera over there then I'm buying them in Europe

But probably not cheaper any more after you declare the camera to the Dutch customs!

To continue the a bit (Although it's a bit related due to the worries of US discounts only)

Well even then it might be even cheaper...
The problem why I don't buy my cameras in the US is because of the warranty.

                        Another example (all excluding taxes):
Adobe creative suite CS4 in the Netherlands: you would pay 3000 euros
In the US: 2.499 dollar equals around 1.840 euros
In UK: 2.313 pound equals around 2.546 euros

edit: Source for adobe (dutch website): http://www.zdnet.nl/news.cfm?id=92440

Wow, that is a big price difference. If you flew to the US to purchase it at the reduced price, you should also be able to claim the airfare as a business expense and reduce the price even further.

Sorry Iznogoud but we are well now.

One option is to contact MS and ask if they have any Promo Discounts going at the moment. TechEd and other like exhibitions often have promo offers if you attend.
