    Dear All

    I have been assigned a task. Taking backup of oracle on AIX with veritas netbackup. If any one has solution for this please reply me.

      I am backing up Oracle on Windows Server with Veritas BackupExec 9.1. I do cold backup, by dumping the whole DB (the dump is less than 1GB) and then I backup the DMP file. Once a month, I close the DB for 10 minutes and back up the files also.
      Is this OK with you, or do you need hot backup?
