  • SQL 2000 Remote Access

We have a client who needs to re able to Remote Desktop to SQL on one of our external servers. Problem is there are other customers set up on this server and we dont want them to be able to access them.

Is there anyway that you can set it up on the Windows 2003/SQL 2000, so that the client can only access the SQL application and there database only. Instead of giving them full access on the server?.

Also I have created a new database for the mentioned client. When I try to create the user and set the authentication to SQL it asks for a password. Can i use any password for this user or will it reset the SA password, which we dont want to do. Will that password be specific to that user account on SQL?.
